Program: Design a series of analyses of the social and urban realities of the neighborhoods of Colonia San Cristóbal and Virgen de Begoña
Scope: Analysis and participation processes
The work carried out by Ecosistema Urbano focused on knowing, analyzing, understanding and integrating the social and urban realities of the neighborhoods of Colonia San Cristobal and Virgen de Begoña, both located in the surroundings of the 4 Towers in Madrid, to the east and northwest respectively.
The objective of this process has been to understand the challenges and opportunities of both neighborhoods, doing it hand in hand with their own neighbors through a series of participatory workshops creating dialogues among citizens about the present and future of their environment.
The complete process of this participation project took place between November 2021 and May 2022. During these months, Ecosistema Urbano designed a series of qualitative and quantitative analysis processes to identify the major pending issues in each of the neighborhoods, in order to define forums for dialogue and citizen meetings to deepen on these issues.
