Client: Interamerican Development Bank (BID)
Date: 2015
Status: Completed
Program: Participatory Process for the transformation of the Central District
Scope: Participatory installation at Museo para la Identidad Nacional (MIN).
The installation Wall of Dreams took place in the courtyard of the Museum for National Identity (MIN) in collaboration with university students. A 9 meter long wall hosted the installation, which was composed of more than 2,000 blue and orange post-its. Each post-it showed the ideas and desires of citizens that were collected by the students during a consultation in the streets of Comayagüela and Tegucigalpa. Games, swimming pools, cleanliness, trees, shade, music and more color were some of the many themes that emerged in this activity.
The installation of post-it forms the word PARTICIPA (“Participate!”). The verb characterized the Revitalization of Tegucigalpa project, calling citizens to action and participation.
