WALL OF DREAMS | INSTALLATION AT MIN MUSEUM

DISTRITO CENTRAL (HN)

Client: BID – Interamerican Development Bank
Date: 2015
Status: Accomplished
Program: Participatory Process for the transformation of the capital of Honduras, Distrito Central
Scope: Design and implementation of the participative installation at MIN – Museo para la Identidad Nacional.

Within the context of the project  Centro Histórico Abierto, we implemented the Wall of Dreams at MIN – Museo para la Identidad Nacional, Honduras. This was achieved with the collaboration of 90 energetic university students who were involved in the Urban Action Workshop of Centro Histórico Abierto Plan directed by ecosistema urbano. The installation was 9 meter long and composed of 2000 blue and orange post-its.

Each post-it had the written idea of an individual citizen from Distrito Central Honduras, gathered during the interviews made by the students from Universities UNAH, UNITEC and Cecilio del Valle.

The post-it installation shows clearly the word PARTICIPA (Participate!), calling citizens for action to achieve a better urban environment.
